Yoga & Wellness at Remember Wellness

At Remember Wellness, we believe healing happens in mind, body, and spirit. That’s why we offer access to yoga, mindfulness, and movement-based practices as part of our holistic approach to recovery.

A Supportive, Never-Required Practice

While we encourage our residents to explore the benefits of yoga and physical movement, participation is always optional. Each individual’s path to recovery is unique, and we honor that. We offer these practices as opportunities—not obligations—to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and embodied healing.

Seasonal Offerings at the Home

Our beautiful outdoor yoga and wellness space is open seasonally, offering on-site workshops and movement classes in spring, summer, and fall. These gatherings bring our community together in a peaceful, healing environment surrounded by nature.

Preston, our Executive Director, is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with additional training in hot yoga and adaptive yoga, including chair-based practices designed for individuals with a wide range of physical abilities. His training includes a focus on supporting students with neuromuscular conditions such as MS and Parkinson’s, and he is passionate about making movement accessible to everyone—regardless of strength, flexibility, or experience.

During colder months, we shift many of our offerings to our indoor living room workshop space, which allows for continued connection and healing practices throughout the year.

We also welcome guest wellness practitioners—including yoga instructors, meditation teachers, bodyworkers, and others—to lead classes or workshops at Remember Wellness. If you are a certified practitioner who carries your own liability insurance and would like to offer something to our community, please contact us to start the conversation.

Access to Community Classes

In addition to in-house offerings, we connect residents with local studios and community wellness spaces, especially in the winter months. We are proud to partner with Go Yoga, where residents can explore high-quality yoga classes in a welcoming and professional studio environment.

Providing the option to attend studio classes supports our residents in two key ways:

•It helps them build real-world wellness routines they can maintain after transitioning from the home.

•It offers them another layer of community—surrounded by individuals also committed to healing, growth, and self-care.

We’re happy to support residents in exploring these opportunities and may offer introductory access and partial financial assistance to those who express a genuine interest in attending regularly.

Waivers & Safety

All residents must sign a waiver before participating in any movement-based wellness activities, whether offered in the home or out in the community. This helps ensure safety, clarity, and mutual understanding.
