Rent & Fee Structure

Creating Financial Stability in Recovery

At Remember Wellness Recovery Homes, we believe that healing should be accessible — and that financial stress shouldn’t be a barrier to recovery. That’s why we’ve designed a rent structure that eases residents into financial responsibility while encouraging longer stays, deeper healing, and long-term stability.

Our Rent Structure

  • $100 per week for the first 3 months
  • $125 per week for months 3–6
  • $150 per week for months 6–9
  • $175 per week for months 9–12
  • $200 per week for months 12–15
  • $225 per week for months 15–18
  • $250 per week after 18 months (cap)
  • A $100 bed fee is due at the time of move-in
  • Rent is due weekly during house meetings

Why We Structured It This Way

Many people entering recovery housing are rebuilding — emotionally, physically, and financially. Our rent structure was designed with this in mind:

  • The low entry point helps remove barriers for those ready for the next step.
  • The gradual increase allows residents to settle in, find work, and build a foundation before taking on higher financial commitments.
  • It encourages longer stays, helping residents gain more tools, stability, and confidence before moving on.
  • It reflects our core values of equity, empowerment, and accessibility.

This approach supports recovery through both compassion and structure — giving each resident the space and time they need to thrive.

Building Stability for the Long Haul: The Rent Freeze Program

At Remember Wellness, we know that recovery takes time — and sometimes, staying in a supportive environment just a little longer can make all the difference.

That’s why we created the Rent Freeze Program, a special opportunity for residents who have been in the home for 6 to 9 months. This option allows them to pause future rent increases and lock in their current rate of $150 per week for up to six additional months.

It’s not just a financial break — it’s an intentional pause. A chance to go deeper, root more fully in their wellness practices, and prepare with confidence for whatever comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the $100 bed fee cover?

The bed fee helps prepare your space with high-quality bedding, basic furnishings, and comfort essentials. It also contributes to shared household items and supports the move-in process.

When is rent due?

Rent is due weekly during our scheduled house meetings. If a holiday or emergency impacts this schedule, staff will communicate the change in advance.

Is financial assistance available?

While we don’t offer direct financial aid, we can assist you in exploring community supports, job resources, or sponsorships from organizations and individuals who support our mission.

Do you accept residents who are unemployed?

Yes. Many residents arrive while still seeking employment. That’s why we created the I WILL Program (Initiative for Work, Independence, Learning & Living) — a pathway to help you find meaningful work and regain financial independence. In order to provide the most support possible, we only accept two people to the I WILL Program at a time.

Is rent the same for everyone?

Yes — all residents start at $100/week and follow the same gradual rent increase schedule. This ensures transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for all.
